The Green Building Index (GBI) is Malaysia’s official green grading system, with the goals of fostering environmental responsibility and fostering a more sustainable built environment. If developers and building owners take use of the GBI grading tool, they may create environmentally friendly buildings that use less energy and water, have cleaner interior air quality, are more accessible to public transportation, and include recycling and greenery into their designs.
